Nancy Reagan, former First Lady and widow to Ronald Reagan, has died at age 94, according to TMZ.
Nancy Reagan, the widow of President Ronald Reagan and passionately devoted keeper of his flame, died Sunday morning of congestive heart failure at 94, according to her spokesperson.

Reagan died at her home in Los Angeles. She’s set to be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband. Prior to the funeral, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to pay their respects at the Library, the spokesperson said. Details had not yet been announced Sunday afternoon.

Reagan, whose husband died in 2004, had appeared frail after suffering several falls in recent years. In May 2012 it was disclosed she had broken several ribs in a fall at her Los Angeles home six weeks earlier.

Although she initially worked as an actress, the former first lady was, first and foremost, Mrs. Ronald Reagan.

“My life really began when I married my husband,” Nancy Reagan once said, and for 52 years of marriage they were a fiercely close and devoted couple.

“Thank God we found each other,” she said in a 1998 interview. “Can’t imagine life without him.”

Nancy Davis Reagan was born July 6, 1921 in New York City as Anne Frances Robbins. Her father was Kenneth Seymour Robbins, a used car salesman, and her mother Edith P. Luckett, was an actress. She became known as Nancy as a child.

Her parents divorced when she was young and her mother remarried Dr. Loyal Davis, a Chicago neurosurgeon, who adopted her.

She took his name and attended private school in Chicago, followed by Smith College, where she majored in drama.

Given that Romney gave us Obama by failing to mount an even moderately effective campaign, and given that Mitt Romney has lent his name to demonizing and attacking other populist conservatives across the country, the only thing interesting about Romney’s speech was Trump’s Response.
US presidential candidate Donald Trump has neither “the temperament nor the judgement to be president”, fellow Republican Mitt Romney says.
He accused Mr Trump of bullying, misogyny and dishonesty in a speech in Utah on Thursday.

“Prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished” if Mr Trump becomes the nominee, he added.

Mr Trump has meanwhile mocked Mr Romney on as a “failed candidate” and a “choke artist”.

“I backed Mitt Romney,” said Mr Trump, addressing a crowd in Maine. “You can see how loyal he is, he was begging for my endorsement.”

He said Mr Romney ran “the worst campaign ever” and should have beaten Barack Obama in 2012.

Many senior Republicans are alarmed at the prospect of Mr Trump securing the nomination for November’s election.

Several members of the Republican national security community wrote an open letter describing Mr Trump’s “vision of American influence and power in the world” as “wildly inconsistent and unmoored in principle”.

“He swings from isolationism to military adventurism within the space of one sentence,” the letter said.

So now, at the 11th hour, the GOP establishment and big donors are scrambling. They have finally awakened from their arrogant stupor and realized that Trump is sweeping the floor with them. They can’t understand how their golden boy Bush never got any traction, and now they can’t seem to pump Rubio up enough to even win his own state of Florida where Trump is trouncing him. They have no choice but to start the dirty tricks and smear campaigning to take Trump out – but it might be too late.

There is talk of a brokered convention, also rumors of Mitt Romney possibly jumping in. Mitch McConnell is gathering together his Senate members and telling them that if Trump secures the nomination they can “drop him like a hot rock.” They believe that Trump doesn’t stand a chance against Hillary, so they would rather destroy Trump and hold the Senate rather than stand behind their candidate. Once again, they are stupid and arrogant. They can’t see that Trump is winning with many union and blue collar workers, and he now has Chris Christie by his side. They also fail to notice that the Republican turnout in the primaries is far greater than the Democrats – and with Bernie Sanders out, the apathy for Hillary will grow. Those “feeling the Bern” will probably stay home or go and vote for Trump. Sure, there will be people who absolutely will not vote for Trump, but there are many, many more who absolutely will.

In an interview Thursday with Jorge Ramos on Fusion, former Mexican president Vicente Fox responds to Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.

“I’m not going to pay for that fucking wall! He should pay for it. He’s got the money,” Fox said.

“Are you afraid that he’s going to be the next President of the United States?” Ramos asked. “What would that mean for Mexico?”

“No no no, democracy can not take that, crazy people that don’t know what is going on in the world today. This worries me, the last caucus in Nevada… he won 44 percent of Hispanics.”

“I’d like to know who those Hispanics are, because they are followers of a false prophet,” Fox said. “He’s going to take them to the desert, and if they think that they will benefit with an administration led by Donald Trump, they’re wrong. They must open their eyes. Please, you Hispanics in the U.S., open your eyes.”

“It is not to defend our race, it is not to defend our creed, but to defend the same nation that is hosting you. This nation is going to fail if it goes into the hands of a crazy guy.”

“What is Trump?” Fox asked. “He’s not a Republican. Absolutely not. Those are not the Republican principles. He is not a Democrat. He is just himself. He is egocentric.

5 Years is all Leland Yee got for selling his vote, accepting bribes, working with weapons traffickers to arm Muslim militants in the Philippines and import the very weapons that he pushed bills to ban.

It’s hard to believe that I served with the 67-year-old Leland Yee, who is a former State Senator from the Bay Area.  In spite of the fact, he made a point to infringe your #2A rights, with bill after bill after bill, including the infamous “Bullet Button Ban”, Leland Yee had no problem making deals to bring fully-automatic weapons-illegal under California law-into California for distribution by his criminal associates.

Jackson led authorities to Yee and pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge. He was also expected to be sentenced Wednesday.

Yee has remained free while awaiting sentencing. He acknowledged accepting $11,000 in exchange for setting up a meeting with another state senator, $10,000 for recommending someone for a grant, and $6,800 for providing a certificate on California State Senate letterhead honoring the Ghee Kung Tong.

He also acknowledged that he discussed helping an undercover FBI agent buy automatic weapons from the Philippines that were intended to be brought to the U.S. for distribution.

Yee’s bill was eventually merged with other gun control bills, but in the end Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed the legislation.

According to Wednesday’s indictment, Yee is charged with conspiracy to deal firearms without a license, along with conspiracy to illegally transport firearms. He is also accused of running a scheme to defraud citizens on his services and wire fraud.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone how pathetic and narcissistic Obama is.  He took it to a new low on Saturday, but sharing a picture of himself carrying a binder of SCOTUS replacements for Justice Scalia.

He’s nothing more than a self-serving, self-centered, selfish little man.  Justice Scalia towered over him with class and left a mark on this world that will stand long after Obama is forgotten.

A California High School suspended an honor student in Escondido simply for having a pocket knife in the center console of his car.

It all started when Sam Serrato got his drivers license and drove himself and his little brother to school in his dad’s car to school.  Sam’s a junior at San Pasqual High.  An hour later he was brought back to his car by a security guard who said a drug-sniffing dog alerted on the car.
A committed athlete, knowing that he doesn’t do drugs, Sam gave them permission to search his car.  In an interview with KUSI’s Michael Turko, Sam said, “Ok, yeah…there’s nothing in there and you can search.”
They found a pocket knife in the glove box and nothing else.  You’d think they’d be happy that Sam had no drugs in his car, since that was the whole reason for the search, but instead the school decided to classify his pocket knife, described by Sam as between 3” and 4” in length as a “dangerous weapon”.
 

 
Sam’s dad, Sal Serrato, explained that the pocket knife, procured at a swap meet 2 weeks prior, is simply a tool that he uses when outdoors hunting and fishing.
Sam is a member of the National Honor Society, and has received a letter for academics.  In addition, he’s an athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball.  If he remains suspended til the end of the month, he’ll miss baseball tryouts.
